ere, in the Pilion Peninsula in Greece, we offer living-in-community guest weeks, holistic holidays and retreats in tranquil healing surroundings, near beautiful crystal clear beaches in the area where, according to legend, roamed the fantastic Centaurs, half human half horse.
Located close to the Aegean sea in mainland Greece and less than 45 miles from the touristic island of Skiathos, our alternative holidays and special interest vacations in Greece offer a summer programme of holistic workshops, retreats, gatherings and family weeks with a difference — the programme is set in the context of authentic community.
This Centre, from 2000-2005 based at Anilio, and now in 2008 at “Xenonas Martiou” in Kissos Village one mile to the south, derives its inspiration from three well known international spiritual communities and ecovillages, all dedicated to personal and spiritual transformation embodying a vision of Gaia education for a sustainable human permaculture.
Findhorn ecovillage in northern Scotland, which has pioneered the concept of working with spirit via attunement, focalisation, making everyday work love, and through co-creating with nature.
The ZEGG ecovillage Community in Germany and Tamera in Portugal, best known for their seminal research into the nature of love and intimate relationship, and their view that there can be no peace on earth until there is peace between men and women.
The Auroville ecovillage community in South India, founded by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother as an international centre for integral yoga dedicated to fostering peace and understanding amongst all peoples, well known for its work with alternative technology and deep ecology.
