The Soul-Full Writer
"The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say". —Anaïs Nin
Writing is a specific form of art just like painting or sculpture. All art comes from a place much deeper than the average intellect can normally reach—it flows through the creative imagination from the foothills of the soul.
Soul-Full writers work with the same creative source that inspires the sculptor, the painter, the composer. They work with the creative Muse. In ancient Greece the Muse was believed to be a Goddess who was often associated with a spring or fountain, perhaps because of her fluid creative nature. Carl Jung said that the Muse was an aspect of the anima—the feminine side of the soul.
This retreat is for writers who want to write a non-fiction book. You can be either new to writing or some way down the path. It will help to sharpen up your potential book ideas and also give you a simple format to create the book outline and structure.
The retreat will include creative exercises and processes, meditation and inner journeys to open the way to the Muse.
At the end of the retreat you will come away with a clearer idea about your book project and also how to approach a potential publisher with your non-fiction work.
Our very affordable (€250) Living-in-Community program invites you to stay on a week before or after your retreat to relax and fully enjoy this special unspoiled region of Greece. Book now!
