FAMILY EXPERIENCE WEEKS30 July — 13 July £500 (2 weeks, Kissos Campus) |
|
The last two years at the Kalikalos Kissos campus, a beautiful energy has grown out of our family experience weeks as we worked, played, sang, swam, danced and laughed together, a bubble of happiness that stayed with each one of us long after the suntan had faded and the bags were unpacked. Texts, emails, calls and visits to one another have continued to nourish the relationships that were formed during our time together and indeed, many of us have booked to return in 2010 as a result! Our daily routines are essentially co-created with the participants present—we meet after breakfast for a daily meditation and sharing, decide on the activities we can offer or join in, organise what needs to be done to help in the daily life of the centre (eg food preparation), hang out at the wide variety of stunning beaches in the afternoons or hike through the shady mountain forests, take time for ourselves in a way that nourishes our deepest being and then meet again in the evenings to eat and play together. Kakikalos is a place where the unexpected delights us daily. In a space of open-mindedness, last year we were surprised by the ripe juicy figs that presented themselves on a shady fig grove as we hiked down the mountain for our beach trip, the unravellings of imagination as we painted pictures from our group visual meditation, the mermaids and pine forests and seascapes that colourfully erupted into our dreams. Who ever knows what happens next? Come to drink in the special surprises that are gathering themselves for your visit, whatever they may be! Children, parents, whole families, parts of families, family friends and single people are all welcome in this special family community group! Please note: This year it is now possible to stay on for a third week, as Steven Gasgarth from Findhorn will be offering a continuation from August 13-20. See Steve's Friends and Family week page on this website.
