What This Week is About
This is a week in relaxed togetherness. It's an invitation to practise yoga, the act of uniting—on and off the mat—and to inquire into your true nature.
We will explore the internal spaciousness of the body with Lisan and relax into the state of presence and connectivity through the gentle listening process of Zen Coaching with Tine.
Lisan´s gentle yoga and Tine´s Zen Coaching complement and support each other in the process of finding union in ourselves and with others.
Our work is also inspired by Marchall Rosenberg's emphasis on the importance of universal human needs and his clarity around how to enhance peaceful harmony-building communication.
We are excited to offer this workshop and trust that the natural beauty of Kissos and the community of Kalikalos will create a perfect setting for our work and play together.
Each day we include both a hatha yoga session and a Zen Coaching session. There will also be plenty of time for going to the white sandy beaches, for taking walks in the hills or for just ‘being’ at Kalikalos.
We will help with preparing the vegetarian evening meal, a bit of gardening or maintance work and doing the dishes. We'll enjoy the evenings having dinner in community together, sharing a circle, gather at the taverna and making new friends.
Kalikalos' very affordable (€250) Living-in-Community programme welcomes you to stay on a week before or after your workshop to enjoy fully this beautiful region of Greece. Book now!

Zen Coaching
Zen coaching was developed by Kåre Landfald over the period 2004-2009 while co-director of the Ängsbacka Centre for Personal Growth in Sweden.
Kåre brought together a unique blend of the modern coaching tradition combined with Zen Buddhism as lived and taught by Thich Nhat Hanh, the Diamond Approach® of A.H. Almaas, Nonviolent Communication of Marshall Rosenberg, and other sources. In 2009 Kåre created the Scandinavian Network of Zen Coaches which today counts about 180 Zen Coaches.
Zen Coaching combines modern coaching along with contacting the timeless wisdom of living in our Essence, that is, in ease, flow and peace. Therefore, it supports us in recognizing our own true nature as awareness, with all the essential qualities of awareness, such as freedom, love, power, creativity and spaciousness.
The process combines coaching and listening so that you are inviting yourself and your partner into the present moment in order to discover your own answers and inner source of joy and wisdom. This is a meditation for two. So simple: we slow down, sense, listen and simply allow for the experience to be just as it is, supported by your own presence and the gentle presence of a friend.
Gentle Hatha Yoga
Lisan offers a gentle hatha yoga style where the invitation is to focus on opening, strengthening and softening, balance and flexibility through a meditative ‘presence’ approach.
Lisan's style of teaching is influenced by the Kashmir style of yoga where we first do a pose mentally to evoke the sensation of the parts of the body that are going to move into a posture.
We'll begin each session by taking some time to quiet the mind, by focusing on the present moment and becoming aware of the breath, creating space between the breaths. Then we will move into a well rounded mix of hatha yoga poses and at the end of the class we return to the same quiet meditative state again, which of course, we never really left. This is a great way to strengthen your physical body, to experience the spaciousness of the body and the stillness of your mind.
Through the practice we start to experience that there is an all pervading consciousness within our own body and in everything around us at the same time, and that there really is no firm boundary to be found between the inner and the outer. We become more open and present within ourselves, with others and our surrounding.

About Tine
I am a Zen Coach, a Psykomotoriker and body-oriented psychotherapist. For the past 16 years I‘ve been running my own practice and I am working full time with Zen Coaching since my certification in 2007.
My personal focus and interest is the opening of the heart—finding ways to deepen connection to qualities of the heart such as compassion, gratitude, peace, joy, curiosity openness, aliveness and more. I am in an ongoing learning process of how we can let choices, actions and connections to our self and others come from the heart.
I currently co-teach at the Zen Coaching Trainings in Sweden and Poland and give supervisions through the international Zen Coaching network. I also give Zen Coaching Living as Essence workshops internationally and private sessions in Copenhagen, Stockholm and over Skype.
About Lisan
My first encounter with yoga was some 25 years ago during my stay in an ashram while traveling in Australia.
When life took me into another direction, I forgot about yoga all together. About 10 years ago I tried another yoga class and this time my body responded immediately, as if it had been waiting and was ready to release and let go of (old) tensions. I began to learn how the melting together of the form and the formless create a basis for the inner experience of peace.
I completed my hatha yoga teaching training at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico in 2009 and now run classes in Sweden and abroad. I am influenced by the teachings of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky and the Non-dual teachings of Advaita vedanta.
