Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a very powerful and practical way to improve our ability to ensure harmonious relationships at home, work or anywhere else, even when there is conflict or misunderstanding. It’s based on skills for recognising and honouring feelings, and the needs that lie behind them—in ourself as well as others.NVC helps us create a more peaceful state of mind by encouraging us to focus on what is alive in us, and what we are truly wanting rather than believing that there is something wrong with ourselves or others.

In this 6 day workshop we will go deeper into the NVC concepts that have been developed over the years by Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg in such a way as to increase our ability to apply the skills and process within ourselves, to take care of our own needs with the intention of connecting compassionately with ourselves and others. We will use Self-empathy as a basic tool to help us create a space within ourself where compassion can flourish. We will learn and practice how to translate our judgments into life serving energy.
The workshop is experiential, and I encourage participants to share their own life examples, which makes it more fluent and easier to integrate into our daily life. During the sessions each person will have coaching and mentoring opportunities.
I enjoy working with what is alive in the group in the moment. I would also enjoy sharing and exploring with you:
The joy of being present How to live moment by moment in harmony with our emotions, needs, concerns, values, and aspirations and to discover what makes our heart sing.
Self-empathy This powerful tool helps us to be in touch and compassionately present with our own feelings and needs, and then finding strategies to meet those needs, and so increase the possibility of a fulfilling life.
Transforming inner critical voices into supportive ones Increase self-respect and self-confidence through connecting with the energy behind judgments we have of our self, people and situations. Learn how to identify them and to connect with their life-serving energy.
Don't be nice be real Honesty that comes from the heart, as a way of deepening connection with ourselves and others. How to talk about things you do not like without criticising or judging.
Gratitude Being connected to the powerful energy of gratitude and appreciation of your own and other people's contributions.
The week is open both to those with some experience with Nonviolent Communication and those new to it. I recommend reading Marshall Rosenberg's book Nonviolent Communication – Language of Life, if you have never had any NVC training.

I work with individuals, couples and organisations in Spain, South America and the UK. My style is experiential, using examples from your own life with a balance of support and challenge that my groups find stimulating, moving and fun. I’m a certified trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC), a global organisation whose vision is a world where all people are getting their needs met and resolving conflicts peacefully.
