The classes will include: Basic herbology, including salve and tincture preparations, medicine from the kitchen, natural cosmetics, herbal first aid, field work in plant identification and plant meditation, art and drama with the plant people. We will travel around the Medicine Wheel of Life and learn Native American concepts of health and wellness.

We will create a Council of the Standing Still people and ask guidence for the healing of our Earth.

About the Facilitator

Jessie Emerson has been a registered nurse since 1966 and has worked in all areas of nursing, including intensive care and coronary care, home health nursing. She is a graduate of Santa Fe School of Natural Medicine, and Southwest School of Botanical Medicine. Ongoing cross-culture education and training since 1980 with native American herbalists and healers, Beautiful Painted Arrow, Rolling Thunder, and Sam Tso.

Jessie provides experience intuitive and spiritually-based educational programs that integrate modern and traditional knowledge.
