Creative Bliss: A Week of Art in Nature

When we draw closer to nature through art, we recover a lost sense of unity. We will cultivate our inner sources of creativity by engaging the mind, body, and spirit and explore painting, drawing, and earth-based sculpture to encounter, reflect upon, and portray the ways of nature. We will learn how to create a dialogue with our inner muse, nourishing the spring of our creativity. During the week we will explore both individual and collaborative art processes rejuvenating our energy and connecting with the group.

Creative bliss in Greece Each day will have a healthy balance of creative sessions and leisure time for swimming, relaxing and exploring the local area. All participants, regardless of their prior experience, will find a deeper and more satisfying artistic expression and be drawn closer to nature.

About this Week's Facilitator

Art workshop in Greece Lisa Shaw is an artist, dance teacher and environmental educator. She specializes in painting, photography and collaborative installations. Studies include a BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art in New York City and MFA studies from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Lisa is a certified Danskinetics and Shake Your Soul dance teacher and has a passion for creative movement and African Dance. She lives in the Findhorn Community in Scotland and has brought art into environmental restoration projects around the world as the art director of The Ecovillage Institute. She uses art as an inspirational tool, bringing people together in a creative and fun way. Lisa Shaw exhibits painting, photographs and murals in the UK and abroad.
