Learn how to cook traditional Greek food, both savoury and sweet whilst on holiday in
Pelion, a stunning area of Greece. Indulge in the colourful combinations of
Mediterranean herbs and vegetables, pulses and pies. We will create dishes from
recipes that have been passed down through generations although I often modify
recipes to accommodate different dietary needs. My method also emphasises no-waste so that every drop or grain of food is incorporated into other dishes.
Cooking classes are held each morning with afternoons free to walk, relax or spend time at the beach. Each evening we dine outside together with others staying at Anilio and eat what we have cooked that morning. During the week, we contribute to the smooth running of the community which includes tending to the garden where fresh vegetables and herbs are grown. As a keen gardener, I can show you how to nurture and pick from these plants so that on returning home, your skills might also include how to grow or expanding your existing knowledge about growing your own vegetables.
